Waboba balls

DIRECTIONS FOR USE

Just add water.

You can play Waboba wherever there is water! Try city water fountains, ponds, and puddles when you’re not at the lake, river, beach, or pool. Simply bounce a Waboba ball in between you and a friend and put on a show for everyone.

TIPS

Throw side-armed to make Waboba balls skip across the water (like skipping rocks).

Throw overhand to make them bounce higher.

Bounce a Waboba off the tip of a wave to make it bounce even higher!

WAYS TO PLAY

Set up a “pass out”. Two team of two pass Waboba balls in between themselves. Once a team misses a catch or has an incomplete bounce, the other team wins.

Form a circle with more teams of two playing at the same time in a circle with all balls crossing the middle of the circle. Last team playing without interruption or dropping the ball wins.

Play the official Waboba games. Visit the IWF to read about various games and how to play.

Invent another game and tell us about it on our Facebook page for a chance to get the IWF seal of approval and win a swag bag!

Waboba Street Ball

Each team, a minimum of 3 players, should pass the Street ball to each team member without losing the ball to the other team. A correct pass must bounce before being caught. Failure to do so results in an incorrect pass. If all players successfully receive a pass, the team gets one point. The opposing team must try to steal the ball and start passing it themselves in order to get points. First team to 3 points wins the game. You are not allowed to tackle or hold opponents. Passes must be made within 5 seconds after receiving the ball.

*Playing Tip: Bounce the Street off walls for an added intensity to the game.

Waboba Flyer

All you have to do is keep the Flyer off the ground. Don’t worry, nothing bad will happen if it does touch the ground though. The games are extremely versatile.

Gather a circle of friends and use your hands, knees, feet, and head to keep the Waboba Flyer off the ground. Experiment with combination and tricks.

Play with the Flyer like you would volleyball, using the palm of your hand or other parts of your body to hit it over the net.

Play like badminton and use Waboba Rackets. Play to 7, 11, 15, or 21 points, depending on how hardcore you want to be!
