Featured Wabobian

We're kicking off a new series to introduce you to some of our incredible Wabobians around the world! First up is Carmen Leung. Carmen manages a snowboard shop and first discovered Waboba on a backcountry snowboard trip when a friend introduced her to the Wingman disc and it was love at first toss!

Favorite Waboba product: Waboba Wingman

First Waboba / when did you first discover Waboba: On a backcountry snowboarding cabin trip when my friend brought a Waboba Wingman along and it was the perfect portable travel companion to play with in small (and big) spaces.

What’s the craziest thing on your bucket list? Mt Everest base camp.

Favorite Waboba playground / place to play: Up high on the mountains or by the lake in the summer.

Favorite food to eat after a day at the beach or on the mountain: Sushi or tacos.

Would you rather walk on water or walk on the moon? I’d rather bounce on the moon to feel anti-gravity and the feeling of floating in space.

Are you more of an ocean explorer or mountain rover? For sure mountain rover, but growing up next to the ocean in Australia I definitely still have my roots by the sea.

What’s a quote or song lyric you live by? Seems pretty cliche but “everything I’m not makes me everything I am”- If you know who that’s by, you’re a real one.

What’s your favorite childhood memory? Fishing and camping with my parents, and my Dad waiting around all day for me while I skateboarded at the skatepark. Thanks, Dad!

What’s a childhood movie or tv show that you could not stop watching? Anyone remember Arthur??

If you could take a dream vacation, where would it be?
It would be in Mexico sitting on a hammock with a margarita and a slight sunburn after a long day of hiking, eating and playing in the sun.
