FAQs

They’re made with engineered materials that compress on impact and skip forward across the surface—like the perfect stone skip, but designed to do it consistently.

Bouncing a Waboba ball on water is similar to skipping a stone, only they don't sink or hurt to catch.

The best way to bounce a Waboba ball on water is to throw it at a steep angle in between you and a friend. Explore different throwing angles and techniques to see how you can make them bounce higher, farther, and skip multiple times.

  • 45 degree angle = low skips
  • 90 degree angle = high skips

Note: Just don't throw the ball straight down. It doesn't bounce like a regular ball. It requires energy and physics!

Yes, Waboba balls are soft and squishy, which makes them easy to catch with your hands without any pain. You'll make diving one-handed catches and look like a pro!

For those looking for added fun, check out the Waboba Catch water glove. The specialized pocket and comfortable waterproof design steps up the gameplay.

Give yourself distance to give the balls the space and speed they need to skip properly. Stand as close as 8 meters or as far apart as 50 meters!

The Waboba Mini. It’s small, powerful, and the easiest to control while learning to skip.

They range from 2" diameter (Waboba Mini) which is slightly larger than a golf ball to 3.14" diameter (SOL, Seabreeze, and ZAG), which is slightly bigger than a baseball.

The Waboba balls with a gel core skip higher, farther, and more times on the water. They offer the best performance, which means they are better for open water play like the ocean and lake. Plan to spread out farther to play with these balls!

The foam core balls are best for close range play, like in swimming pools. Their larger size and foam core cause them to bounce slower and less times on the water. But they still work great in the ocean or lake too!

The gel Waboba Balls are the best performing water bouncing balls. Here's how they compare:

  • Mini — Small, fast, and high-performance with easy control.
  • Original — Slightly larger. Extra-squishy core for the highest skips and maximum bounce.
  • Pro — Larger and heavier with added grip for precision and control

Gel-core balls (Mini,Original, and Pro) are best for lakes and ocean play. They’re designed for longer throws, higher skips, and wide-open environments.

The foam Waboba balls, such as Waboba ZAG, Seabreeze, and SOL are all great for the pool.
