Featured Wabobian
We're kicking off a new series to introduce you to some of our incredible Wabobians around the world! Next up is Mitch Banuskevich. Mitch first discovered Waboba 10 years ago while playing at the lake in New Hampshire and has never looked back!
Mitch Banuskevich
Hometown / Current Location: Hometown: Milford, New Hampshire. Currently: Plymouth, New Hampshire where I went to college.
Favorite Waboba product: The Waboba Pro, it provides all of the sensational features of the Original Waboba while offering a longer range and more exhilarating bounces off the water.
First Waboba you owned / When/How did you first discover Waboba: The Original Waboba ball. I was introduced by a friend and instantly found a passion for not only the Waboba products but the type of culture that was being developed by the company. #Keeplifefun is not just a brand slogan, but a mantra to live by in all that we do. Too many of us have lost that touch with our inner child and we forget how important it is to incorporate play into our daily routines.
What’s the craziest thing on your bucket list? I want to visit all of the national parks in the US. I plan to bring my Waboba products with me to use them throughout our stops. When I travel, I make sure to have a Waboba in my bags and there is always one on deck ready to play in my truck too.
Favorite Waboba playground/place to play: I love to play on the lake and because there are so many Waboba products that can be used on the water, it makes for long days of endless playing!
Favorite food to eat after a day at the beach or a day on the trails: It would have to be a hamburger and fries which I justify from all of those burnt calories.
Would you rather walk on water or walk on the moon? I’d rather walk on water so I could travel anywhere without the need for a heavy suit and supplemented oxygen, and could play with Waboba balls in any body of water.
Are you more of an ocean explorer or mountain rover? I am definitely more of a mountain rover and have been hiking all of the 4,000 foot mountains New Hampshire has to offer.
What’s a quote or song lyric you live by? “If you settle for just anything, you’ll never know what you’re truly worthy of.”
What’s a childhood movie or tv show that you could not stop watching? Finding Nemo was an all time favorite as a child.
If you could take a dream vacation, where would it be? Alaska would be my dream vacation. It has an incredibly diverse ecosystem and eight national parks that are packed with wilderness asking to be explored.
