    FAQs

A Waboba Pro can skip from knee to overhead high. How low or high depends on your throwing angle.

The Waboba Pro is slighty smaller than a tennis ball. It weighs 100 grams.

The Waboba Pro is larger and has a firmer core, which gives it more control and accuracy when it skips on the water. The black panel also features an added grip for more elite-level play!

The Waboba Pro is best for the lake, ocean, and river. Places where you have more room to spread out and let the ball skip freely!

Swimming pools can be limiting because of their size, and you'll find yourself having to get out of the pool to chase after it all day. You can stay play with it in a pool, but open water play is truly best.

Bouncing a Waboba ball on water is similar to skipping a stone, only they don't sink or hurt to catch.

The best way to bounce a Waboba ball on water is to throw it at a steep angle in between you and a friend. Explore different throwing angles and techniques to see how you can make them bounce higher, farther, and skip multiple times.

    • 45 degree angle = low skips
    • 90 degree angle = high skips

Note: Avoid throwing the ball straight down. It doesn't bounce like a regular ball. It requires energy and physics!

Grab a friend (or more) and stand as close as 10 meters or as far apart as 50 meters. Get a feel for how they skip and then spread out to give yourselves some distance to let them skip like wild!

You can stand in ankle deep water to waist/chest deep water. Sometimes you don't even need to get wet at all if you play on a puddle, a pond, or a narrow river!

It's easy and fun to catch a Waboba Pro with your barehands. They are soft and don't hurt.

Baseball and softball players tend to prefer the Waboba Catch glove, since leather gloves get ruined in the water. So we created a specialized glove for them that is made to get wet and comes with a Waboba Pro ball.

You'll need wide open spaces for the gel Waboba balls. Although they are fun to play with in the pool, use caution since they can bounce out and hit hard surfaces or concrete which may cause wear & tear.
