WATCH THEM BOUNCE

FAQs

They skip from knee to overhead high. How low or high depends on your throwing angle.

Some people use a throwing technique that allows the balls to skim across the surface upwards of 40 times!

The Waboba Original is bigger than a golfball and smaller than a tennis ball. It weighs 80 grams.

Here's how they compare:

  • Mini — Small, fast, and high-performance with easy control.
  • Original — Slightly larger. Extra-squishy core for the highest skips and maximum bounce.
  • Pro — Larger and heavier with added grip for precision and control

The Waboba Original is best for the lake, ocean, and river. Places where you have more room to spread out and let the ball skip freely!

Swimming pools can be limiting because of their size, and you'll find yourself having to get out of the pool to chase after it all day. You can stay play with it in a pool, but open water play is truly best.

The Waboba balls with a gel core skip higher, farther, and more times on the water.

The foam core balls are best for close range play, like in swimming pools. Their larger size and foam core cause them to bounce slower and less times on the water.

Bouncing a Waboba ball on water is similar to skipping a stone, only they don't sink or hurt to catch.

The best way to bounce a Waboba ball on water is to throw it at a steep angle in between you and a friend. Explore different throwing angles and techniques to see how you can make them bounce higher, farther, and skip multiple times.

  • 45 degree angle = low skips
  • 90 degree angle = high skips

Note: Avoid throwing the ball straight down. It doesn't bounce like a regular ball. It requires energy and physics!

Grab a friend (or more) and stand as close as 8 meters or as far apart as 50 meters. Get a feel for how they skip and then spread out to give yourselves some distance to let them skip like wild!

You can stand in ankle deep water to waist/chest deep water. Sometimes you don't even need to get wet at all if you play on a puddle, a pond, or a narrow river!

We understand dogs are obsessed with Waboba balls, and they are certainly safe. But the Waboba Original is made for humans.

The Legendary

Balls that bounce on water
Where to play
Best for oceans & lakes

You'll need wide open spaces for the gel Waboba balls. Although they are fun to play with in the pool, use caution since they can bounce out and hit hard surfaces or concrete which may cause wear & tear.

Best Performance

Signature Gel Core

The Waboba Original, Mini, & Pro all feature a gel core, our signature recipe for the best performance.
